So Elder Pitts says:

Oyyeeee so sorry that the internet sucks royally... i had a sweet email and sweet story and all written and ready to go... and then all of the sudden... thanks to awesome internet here... POOOOF! like magic it was gone! psshhh.... but hey... just one more test of life right!?!? ha

anyway. story quickly... hmmm... i got a letter in snail mail with some pics and a lil story about some rocks being thrown at us and how we are protected by the lord... but something else... hmm... ok something quick about how much people can change... remember Juan? yup... basically he and his wife look walk into the church looking like they run a tattoo shop,(cause they do...). But before that... juan was basically a druglord mob boss that turned heads when he walked into a club with 5 different women on each arm and people got out of the way for fear of what would happen if they didnt move... basically what you see in the movies... he had Money, women, power, and could do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted without anyone ever saying a word. And today, juan is a LITTLE different... he has 3 less houses and only 1 car and a motorcycle, and lives in a chalete with his wife and 4 kids (1 of them a stepdaughter) that we hope will soon be getting baptized to be sealed with her parents in a few months for time and all eternity. the new juan is now waiting to see if he gets paid by the government or not becuase he is unable to work for what happened in the war. (bomb went off by his head and now has a world of problems...) BUT! ever sense he changed his life and joined the church, his health problems have almost gone away compared to what he had before... before he was in the hospital almost every week for something bad, now he is much better off and tells it that way. "ya i felt cool and like the movies when i lived that life... but i was never once near as happy as i am now with so many less problems and a family that i know i can be together with for ever..." is what juan told mariah his daughter the other night in a lesson with her.

Although still a little rough around the edges in some places, Juan and his family are basically a NEW family and different type of people now. ANd they tell us they wouldnt have it any other way. you really can see the happiness that they have now in they´re lives and cant wait to be sealed. mariah still has some doubts... but says she wants to be with her family forever and with time will soon be with them =) so thats my short story for now... and just remember that no matter how a person make look on the outside and sometimes by the way they talk... they really still can be amazing people with amazing testimonies and experiences.

but ya not much more time... but now how much i lov eyou and ill try and write some more stories and send some more pics soon! sorry couldnt give you more now! the letter with pics and sd card should get there soon! let me know when you get it!

thanks so much for all you all do! cant wait to here from you all soon! love yal! muuuuuaaaaahhhhh!!!elder jack zach pitts pittsie

Holy goodness gracious... this transfer just flew right freakin by! recibiremos los llamadas por traslados (cambios, para josh...) este sabado que viene ya... moises que rapido!!! siempre parece como el tiempo vola!!! but only when your having fun =) so we had a baptism on saturday and confirmation on sunday and it was awesome!!! her name is anabel and shes from here from Jaén. i dont know if i told you guys about her yet... but shes mostly blind, has a testimony that sounds like shes been in the church for longer than i have, and sing like a freakin angel!!! shes awesome! we were suppose to have 2 bautismos... but 1 of them nos falló... uh... didnt happen. we got a call the day before she was suppose to be baptised (the romanian lady) and she said we needed to talk... right when i heard it i thought... hmmm... "we need to talk..." is never words that you wanna hear from a woman... jajajaja right then i knew it wasnt gonna happen. but basically her husband thats in jail... said if she wanted to get baptised, after the baptism she should just stay with us... because he would kick her and her daughter of his apartment into the streets without anything... kinda a tough situacion... so now we have to figure out how to either talk to the husband or just have one of juans old mob friends ... "take care of him"... for us... hahahaha which is totally possible inside or outside of a prison for juan... hahahaha its scary! but were still gonna keep workin with her and see what we can do. but we set another fecha for this girl isabel from columbia this week for feb. 6th. and we´ll see how that goes hahha remember to keep us in your prayers! hahaha workin on gettin 2 chicos here out on missions. they both are great kids... just alittle confused and scared... but i think they will in the end go. justlike that kid in my old area lucas. but we´ll see i guess. juans daughter as well is doing really well and ithink in thenear future she will get baptized to be sealed with her family in the temple when they go when juan has a year in the church. o and a question for anyone that might know... juan wants to get sealed and take out his endowments 1 day before his 1 year mark after his baptism... is that possible? if not they hyave to wait a long while to try and go again... if ya know... let me know =) but hey... all here is well. ha ha yesterday we went to juans house to eat right after church, and it started to snow right when we got there! (WOOOOOO!!! GO SNOW!!!) but anyway... it was comin down pretty hard, and when we went to get inthe car to leave, we couldnt go anywhere... it doesnt snow hard here often... and when it does like it did yesterday... its a disaster... ahhaha cars off the road everywhere, and all manner of crap... hahaha long story short, we got snowed in at juans, called pres to see what to do snowed in and miles away from home, and he said to just stay there and go home in the morning when we can... so basically we stayed the night at juans house and had a freakin riot in the snow and all! hahaha mad e amassive snowman, juan gave us some simpsons pijamas to wear, and we all sat around and had a good ol time... played some poker... hahahaha they freakinlove poker... but anyway we got homethis morning and i felt like i just got homefrom a sleepover! hahaha sweet! sleepover in the mission!!! woooooo! hahaha but hey... all here is well. im gonnna try and get some pictures off soon that i just printed off or try and send themonline if i can... we´ll see... but hey... igotta get goin... but know how much i love you all and cant wait to hear from all of you again! siempre en la lucha del señor!ONE LOVEelder zach jack pitts pittsiep.s. cass and josh thanks for getting those temple cards, hope to get them soon in case i get transfered. i doubt i will be... but ya never no... =)love yal!
